Dinnertime!
Mom really doesn't need a watch to know when it's getting close to our dinnertime. Shadow the cat usually starts in about one to two hours before, and my tummy clock goes off soon after. Slinky the cat will sometimes join in, but prefers to hang in the background & let me & Shadow do all the pestering. Here we are telling mom we want our dinner:
As you can see, we are not exactly subtle but this is because mom is quite dense & doesn't get our hints... at least I think she doesn't....

Lucy, I agree with you. Right after the 1st time you mom ask "Is it dinner time?" you answer couldn't be any more clear. But she went and ask 5 more times and you answer them each time with the same answer... she is very dense :)
I'm sure your mother in law will have so much fun when she visits you very soon.
Shadow recognize he was in a danger zone with you jumping around and climbed on top of the table... very smart.
